Wedding Season Magic

As Wedding season approaches, I can't help but reflect on the beautiful weddings I am happy to have been a part of.   Everyone had a special story of how they met and how quickly they were struck by Cupids arrow.

Tammy & Marcin met during a crazy fender bender and haven't looked back since.  During our Skype consult, Tammy beamed as we discussed all of her special touches, including having her ceremony at the Cop Cot in Central Park.  I had to do some research and found hundreds of gorgeous wedding ceremonies performed at this hidden venue, Central Parks largest wooden structure that boasts a sweet rustic charm.  I fell in love after my location scouting and I almost wished I had a sandwich and some wine to enjoy the beautiful summer sunset here.  Upon arrival on the big day, guest filed in and marveled at how perfect the climate was for a wedding at the Cop Cot, rich green leaves made for cool shade as we eagerly await the processional!  The Bride wore a snazzy, elegant ivory Lace pantsuit with turquoise jewelry.  Her Groom was dapper for days in his sharp blue suit.  Their smiles were brighter than the sun as they marched to the alter.  The ceremony was translated for visiting family members and still, not a dry eye in the house.  Tears of joy and laughter spread wide as the couple had their first kiss as husband and wife!  Later, a giant green trolley was waiting to bring all guests to the Reception, held at the fantabulous Tavern On The Green for outdoor cocktail hour, then indoors for the celebration.  More tears of joy as the Best Man and Maid of Honor toasts the Newlyweds with wonderful stories of friendship, love and deep-rooted support.  The classic sit down dinner was all glam and pure elegance!

24k MAGIC

Diana met Danny at The MET on Halloween night, where they both worked.  It wasn't soon after that he asked her if she "would like to hang out for the rest of her life?"  This young couple simply exude their love from their pores.  Meeting them for our in-person consult was more fun than work!  They completed each others sentences as they regaled me with their love story.  Their camaraderie was palpable, Danny a complete gentleman as he relegated all the key decisions to his beloved Bride; Diana a total sweetheart whom considered Danny every step of the way.  Witnessing true devotion and pure friendship between these two at their age was a beautiful breath of fresh air.  We planed for a FULL day; getting ready shots for both Bride & Groom was a must!  They were super excited to be able to capture those important moments before their big day.  Danny, with his men, chumming around, was cool as a cucumber on the outside, but as my images show, he was about to burst!  It was a family tradiution for the Groom to wear a white tux.  He looked dashing, I must admit.  His parents kept him smiling, as they took care of business of late arrivals behind the scenes.  Diana was ready and set to go.  I arrived to see her fully made up and wonderfully patient, while I set up for her mother/daughter images as she dressed in her glorious ivory gown.  Her bridesmaid were gitty with utter excitement as they practiced their dance routine to be performed after their grand entrance at the reception.  Man, did they pull if off.  I swear, my face literally hurt, as the muscle of my cheeks did not let up.  I was smiling and laughing the whole. entire. night. LITERALLY!!! I could not stop smiling.  The lively event had even the grandparents dancing and singing to Bruno Mars!  Don't believe me, just watch.... ;-)
